A week ago the Rezidor Hotel Group announced the Park Inn by Radisson Amsterdam Schiphol. The 150 rooms-property is scheduled to open in third quarter of 2012, and will be Rezidor’s very first Park Inn by Radisson hotel in the Netherlands.

“We aim to bring Park Inn by Radisson to key destinations across Europe, and Amsterdam was on top of our wish list. Once this hotel is open, Park Inn by Radisson will have a presence at four of the five busiest airports in Europe: London Heathrow, Paris Charles de Gaulle, Frankfurt Rhein-Main, and Amsterdam Schiphol”, said Kurt Ritter, President & CEO of Rezidor. At Amsterdam Schiphol, the group already manages a Radisson Blu Hotel with 279 rooms.

The Park Inn by Radisson is being developed in a former office building within the Schiphol-Rijk office park, one of Amsterdam’s largest business areas which houses global players such as KLM, TUI Airlines, and Nokia Siemens Networks. The distance to the airport is 5 kilometres – a shuttle bus will connect hotel and terminal in 10 minutes only.

Besides 150 modern and comfortable guest rooms, the new hotel will comprise an all day dining restaurant, a bar, a gym, and ca. 150 square metres of meeting space. On the hotel’s grounds, 150 parking spaces will be available, and guests will benefit from attractive “park & fly” packages.
