After opening their first property, The Kempinski High Tatras in May last year, the hotel chain Kempinski plans to open the doors of their second hotel in Bratislava, capital of Slovakia. The opening of this new property is expected to be in June 2010.
Kempinski Hotel River Park will be the second hotel of Kempinski in Slovakia. However, it will be the first property of the hotel group to be located in the Slovak capital Bratislava. The luxury hotel will be situated on the banks of Danuba river, near the old town of Bratislava.
The hotel has been designed by the Dutch architect Erick van Egeraat. The eight floors complex will have 231 rooms including 3 presidential suites with a nice view over the Danube river and the city of Bratislava. Furthermore, the hotel rooms will have marble bathrooms and a free high speed internet connection.
The hotel will also feature a Spa Zion, a fitness room, 11 conference rooms, a cigar club named the Churchill, a restaurant Art with a panoramic view over the Danube river and a brewery named River Bank.
