The company LookingforBooking B.V., with her website LookingforBooking.nl, was founded in 2005 by Gerlof Bos. It started as a booking site for hotel rooms in The Netherlands. In that year, Gerlof Bos graduated on his research on e-distribution and commission structures at the MBA Hotel and Tourism Management of the Higher Hotel School in Maastricht. Since the beginning of 2007 LookingforBooking B.V. is part of the Bencom group. Bencom B.V. is the company of internet entrepreneur Ben Woldring and market leader with her independent price comparison platform on telephone, internet, energy and digital television providers. LookingforBooking.com is being managed by Gerlof Bos, joint owner of LookingforBooking and hotel comparison site of Ben Woldring.
LookingforBooking is situated in a monumental building dating from 1637 in Groningen, in the north of the Netherlands. The office is located in the centre of this dynamic city, under the shadow of the beautiful “Martinitoren” (Martini tower).
